Sue….I’m here ‘cuz of the comment you left on “Piece O’ Cake” site regarding the oil location, etc, on your SS. I have one, also, and on page 15 there is complete instructions on lubricating the machine. I use a drop of oil every other bobbin change and clean the bobbin area every time I change the bobbin. Love the machine, even though I think HQ could be a lot better on the quality control of their incoming parts from vendors. I have the extra table extensions and have placed “Q-Snap” plastic over the front edges of the table. I purchased the overlay in the hopes of making the machine level with the table top to facilitate the use of rulers. I still had to get the free replacement “feet” for my machine to lower the machine to the correct height. My light ring has been replaced 2 times with the the last one being a whole new design from a different vendor.
