New Class!
I’ll be teaching a mixed media sketchbook surfaces class at Ink About it on Saturday August 4. In my book The Sketchbook Challenge:techniques,prompts and inspiration for achieving your creative visions I give a brief introduction to screen printing and stenciling. In this workshop you’ll spend the day immersed in experimenting with these two techniques and leaf printing plus you’ll learn how to add additional imagery to your papers by writing with a paint filled craft syringe. By the end of the day you’ll have learned some new techniques to use when you work in your own sketchbooks and you’ll have a stash of gorgeous papers to incorporate into your sketchbook pages and collages.
