On Saturday January 14th 2012 I’ll be teaching my kitchen foil single needle coptic stitch book at Ink About It in Westford Ma and I’ve been busy this week making up samples for the class:
This book is a lot easier to make than it looks! It’s just kitchen foil, grungeboard and some paper…
I made the signatures for this book with a combination of plain ivory colored paper and some great scrapbook papers by Tim Holtz.
The stitching goes pretty quickly once you get the pattern established and because the spine of the signatures is exposed you can get creative when choosing the papers for each signature because they’ll show in the finished book.
Even if you’ve never made a book before you’ll be able to make on of these. Pop over to the Ink About It website here for more information about the class or call Ink About It at 978-392-0321 to register.

They are wonderful. The class will be thrilled to learn how to make them.
well I’ll just hop on a plane and pop over Sue. lol –pity you aren’t nearer.
