Tote Tuesday

Have you heard about Tote Tuesday?

Tote Tuesday is a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society being organized by Virginia Spiegel. Each Tuesday beginning February 2nd through March 31, 2010 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm you’ll be able to bid on totes filled with unique, beautiful, and inspiring items from the worlds of fiber arts, knitting, art quilting, mixed media and surface design. The totes will required opening bid with additional bids requested in $10 increments. There will also be a Go for the Gold! price if you can’t wait to own the tote AND want to be a champion supporter of the ACS. If funds are tight and you have your eye on a tote you’d like to bid on why not buddy up with a friend to increase your available bidding funds and then split the contents of the tote? You’ll find a list of some of the totes in progress on Virginia’s blog here.

One of the tote organizers and a good online friend of mine Peggy Schroder is organizing several totes and I donated a copy of Creative Ways with Books&Journals along with a couple of other things to help fill one:
