Typically the last few weeks of each year I find myself reflecting on the past year and thinking about what the new year will bring. I don’t make resolutions because I think that waiting until a particular date on the calendar to make a positive change in your life is silly. If I need to make a change I do it when it feels right, not when the calendar tells me to. But resolutions aside,I do like to think about what goals I would like to accomplish in the studio for the year. For the last few years I’ve always added 2 or 3 publications that I wanted to see my work in to my list of goals. I’m very happy to say that I’ve managed to see my artwork in each one that I’ve put on my list including a few extra’s that I didn’t anticipate having my work in. The last one I had my sights set on was a book binding magazine called Bound &Lettered.
Well,I’m very happy to announce that I will have an article on making the book above in the next issue due out in the next few days!
So what’s on my goals list for 2010? Well I’ll be continuing my exploration of creating quilted wall art pieces in my “geometrics”series and creating pieces for the Fiberactions and the 3Creative Studios Quilt Challenge 2010 program. I also have a new monthly program in development for 3Creative Studios that I’m very excited about and I’ll be giving you the details about that on 1/1/2010 on the 3Creative Studios blog. So that’s what’s on my list of goals for 2010,what’s on yours?
I’m going to take a little blogging break over the holidays so let me just take this opportunity to thank you for reading my blog. Your comments and feedback mean a lot to me and I appreciate every single one.
I wish you all a safe and cheerful holiday filled with love, laughter and peace.

Congrats,Sue!
