I first heard about this bendable bright light when Vicki blogged about it back in October here. I finally got around to buying myself one last week when I got an email coupon from Jo-ann fabric and crafts for 50% any item from their website.
I am loving this little light! It puts light exactly where I need it at just the right angle. It definitely makes it easier to see what I’m stitching especially when I’m working with dark fabrics. If you have trouble with not having enough light on your sewing machine I highly recommend this light.
You can see in the above photo my latest quilt that I’m working on. Here’s a sneak peek at something else I’m working on…
Intrigued? I’ll give you a hint – they’re not paper. More on these surfaces and how to make them in an announcement on the Three Creative Studios blog on 1/1/2010…

I’m looking forward to seeing your finished quilt and the mystery surfaces!
I am intrigued with not only the new mystery surfaces but your quilt in action on the machine looks amazing. Your talents are infinity…
The quilt looks cool and hurry up and tell us about the surfaces. I love the bottom one.
That is a very cool lamp (the quilt it’s lighting up is pretty spiffy, too).
Friends have the light. I really should get one. Intriguing samples. The quilt looks nice.
Yes, they would also have the benefit of not being in the way when you have to get up like the stands often are. Good idea, now where is a coupon when you need one! 8^)
I’ve been holding off on getting a bendable light and I don’t know why. I really should get one.
Thanks for the tip on that little light, Sue…I may have to have one!
