Spine stitch patterns &a new website

I've got another sample from my Creative Book Making online class.

The keyhole binding book,6"x9"x2".   I love this binding because it's a perfect way to show off a fancy thread and the colorful signatures inside. It takes a bit of time and effort to make but the results are worth it.

soy wax batik

Ages ago I bought a bag of soy wax flakes which I tossed in a drawer and forgot about.  Well I've recently been bitten by the batik bug so I gathered up some supplies and tossed the soy wax into a electric skillet and spent a couple of days this week doing some experimenting.
