These are samples for the Box Making Class at the Danforth Museum this spring.
These boxes measure about 5"x 7"x 3"and all three are built starting with a basic drop spine box format:
It's called a drop spine because the lid is attached to the box with a hinged spine and when lifted off the top lays flat. This next one is made the same way but I attached the spine to the box so that it doesn't lay flat and added a divider to the inside:
and the third box in this series has a divider on the inside:
along with a covered divided section too:
Registration for my spring classes and workshops at the museum will open in another week or two. I'll be teaching a book making class,a fabric painting and dyeing class and a box making class. All of those will be 6 week classes. I'll also be teaching a one day fabric postcard and ATC workshop and a half day hard cover book making workshop. It's going to be a busy spring for me!

Beautiful
all I can do is repeat what the others have been saying. Wonderful. I also love the spine of the book in the previous post.
